We are looking forward to celebrating Catholic Schools Week 2018.  Below is a list of events that will take place throughout the school and parish.  Enjoy looking through our photos from the 2017 Catholic Schools Week celebration.     





The week prior to Catholic Schools Week  Door Decorating Each elementary classroom and each junior high/high school religion class period will create a poster.  On Monday, elementary teachers can pick up their poster board in the elementary school office.  Junior High/High School religion teachers can get their poster board in Kim Honigford’s office. They will choose a virtue from  They will then create a poster showing how by attending a Catholic school they can learn, serve, lead and succeed by having that particular virtue.  Posters will hang outside your classroom throughout Catholic Schools Week.  PTO will provide prizes.


Sunday, January 28 Catholic Schools Week Mass in church.  Music begins at 11:10am.  Different grade levels will be singing.  Please plan to attend if possible.

Monday, January 29  Celebrating The Nation and the World “Souper Bowl”  Students would be allowed to wear jeans and a shirt for their favorite football team (professional, college or Blue Jays).  All students will be asked to bring in a can of soup for St. Vincent DePaul Society in Delphos.  Elementary students will take their can of soup to the morning assembly.  In addition, Junior High and Senior High students will also be asked to bring in $2.00 for Rise Against Hunger. They will turn in their donations in their first period class. Throughout the day the students will learn about hunger issues in our country as well as the world. Please show these videos to your students: and The first video explains Rise Against Hunger and the second video is from the Delphos project held last year. Encourage your students to be a part of this year’s event which will be held on February 11th.  Send home attached flyer.

Tuesday, January 30  Celebrating Faculty and Staff   Luncheon for faculty and staff put on by PTO.

Wednesday, January 31  Celebrating Vocations  We will have representatives of the various vocations (priests and religious, single and married) who will speak that day.  They will visit elementary classrooms in the morning. Junior High/High School will be on a 12:30 pm schedule.  Vocation talks and Culture Project presentations in the afternoon. More details to follow! Winter Concert – Grades K-3 will be held in the Robert Arnzen gym that evening.

Thursday, February 1  Celebrating Community and Volunteers  All School Mass at 8:00am  Volunteers at school and those Spotlight Volunteers will be asked to come to Mass to be recognized.  Hopefully Mayor Gillespie will be available to speak to us after Mass.

Friday, February 2  Celebrating Students Blue and Gold Jean Day!!!!  Elementary school will have movies in their rooms and popcorn.  Junior High and High school will have cookies and ice cream at lunch.  Food provided by PTO.  PTO has also sponsored prizes for students.  Names will be drawn and student will be called to the respective office to claim their prize. Pep assembly at 2:30pm.
