The 30th annual K of C / St. John’s Golf Benefit was held at the Delphos Country Club on Friday, June 1. The 18-hole course was fully loaded with a record 44 teams with 176 players, as well as a large group of volunteers working the event. In addition to the golfers and volunteers, over 50 families and companies from the area contributed by becoming one of the various “sponsors” of the event.
The profit of the event totaled over $15,000, This is the largest amount generated in the history of the benefit. $13,000 of these profits will be donated to St. John’s to help offset the cost of replacing and updating the exterior doors with new security doors to ensure the safety of the students.
In addition to donating to the school, $2,000 will be donated to the K of C Building Repair Fund.
