We consider it a privilege and a responsibility to help all our students prepare for success and develop their unique talents and gifts. Our strong community of students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni actively work toward realizing these goals for each individual in every aspect of his or her junior high and high school years - spiritual, academic, artistic, and athletic.
St. John’s Junior High/High School is a faith-based secondary school, sponsored by the Diocese of Toledo in Ohio. The school primarily serves the City of Delphos, but has students from a number of neighboring districts, including Elida, Ottoville, Fort Jennings, Spencerville, Lincolnview, and the Lima and Van Wert areas. We welcome students from all diverse backgrounds, giving the school a distinctive mix that reflects the rich variety of contemporary America.
Our focus at St. John’s Junior High/High School begins with a foundation in faith, preparing our students to live spiritual, moral, and ethical lives. Academic excellence is an achievable goal, as each student learns and grows according to their individual talents. A competitive athletic program and specialized art studies complement the academic curriculum. Service programs instill the value of community service, while numerous extracurricular activities offer learning and improve social skills for all students.
St. John’s Junior High/High School appreciates the importance of the high school experience and fosters a community that works hard, plays hard, and - most importantly prays hard. We encourage and challenge each student to learn enthusiastically, lead honorably, and live responsibly in our world.
